Unforgettable Notte Bianca in Bibione

The city of Bibione, a well-known resort in northern Italy, on 23rd May 2009 will be playing host to the very long Notte Bianca (White Night). Everyone comes together to make the most of this celebration of night life, enjoying the concerts, clubs, shops and disco bars which stay open all night, not forgetting the displays and promotions of local produce, special activities and much much more.

If you have already booked a hotel in Bibione, make sure you don't miss this: it all starts with a classic aperitif on the beach at 7.00 pm, and then you will be entertained by a display of artistic gymnastics from the stars of 'Amici', the famous programme presented by Maria de Filippi. 'Elisa on the waves' is a live concert from 10 pm on, with an Elisa tribute band, and 'Acrobat', a U2 cover band. The fun continues from midnight onwards, with 100x100 beach volley, when one hundred athletes will take on another hundred at the Arenile Piazzale Zenith. And finally, a beachside breakfast accompanied by an enjoyable classical music concert.

Events along the beach in Bibione

Take advantage of a booking in Bibione and don’t lose the spectacular tournaments of a beach volleyball contest which will take place during the warm season, with over 150 playing fields available, in a competition open both to amateurs and professionals.

The event opens Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, while the closing event will go from Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2009. The 3x3s and 4x4s are open to professionals and amateurs of all ages. There will be a run-up qualification at the end of which a temporary placement list will be drawn up and the best 320 teams will access the finals. Sunday will see the knockout competitions up to the grand final. On Friday and Saturday there’ll be the 2x2s double elimination formula: the first defeat will place the team on the losers board and a second defeat means elimination. The final contest is between the two pairs left on the winner’s board and the loser’s board.

Motor Racing in Bibione

Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March, the beach of Bibione will be the location for an event of considerable interest, dedicated to all lovers of motor racing: Bibione Beach Motor Race.

At the Arenile Piazzale Zenith, exciting competitions will be held only with really skilled specialist of motocross. Competitions will start Saturday 29 at 2 p.m. with the Quad Race on the sand and valid for the Italian Championship - Triveneto Baja Quad, followed the next day with by the Endurance Race in pairs (start at 10.30 am), whose best classified will challenge from 2.30 pm on the American Cross Race.
